Has a Hypnotherapist full control over his/her client?

This is a question I get asked often. The answer in short, is "No". All hypnosis is self-hypnosis and the therapist is only guiding you in order to hypnotise yourself.

Therefore the therapist is only a guide. During hypnosis you are fully aware of everything that goes on around you.

And no hypnotist can make you do things which your critical faculties won't allow. You are always in control of yourself and at any time you can get up and go.

I hope that this will clarify things.

My first Blogg

I thought it might be interesting to try this blogging thing. I will be aiming at general information about hypnotherapy and some case studies.
If you want me to address specific topics please let me know.

In the meantime I will organise my thoughts and will be back soon.
